Unlike the original OEM Mercedes-Benz plastic pulley the all Aluminum Idler Pulley is precision machined from aerospace aluminum.
It features a serviceable ball bearing which is retained by a snap ring and can be replace if needed.
The aluminum idler pulley is a much more durable part, as embraced by the Baja 1000 racers as well as by the Overland Traveler folks.
Please Note: The existing Mercedes-Benz mounting bolt (A 112
990 01 12) and dust cap (A 001 988 57 35) are still being used to complete
this needed upgrade installation - detailed install manual is included.
